So for every player who gets an actual ACC offer, there are dozens who list ‘interest’ but have no offer. I thought I’d mention five players who have ACC offers and aren’t getting the same attention as the top 10 players.
Sometimes unranked players make big time contributions, and the ACC recruiting radar tends to focus on Duke and UNC.
The very fact that these plays have ACC offers on the table means they should be on your radar:
– Terrence Shannon, (6’6″, PF, 2009)
Has offers from Clemson, Florida State and Georgia Tech
– Glen Rice, Jr. (6’4″, SG, 2009)
Yes, he’s the son of that Glen Rice.
Has offers from Georgia Tech and Miami.
– Torin Walker (6’10”, C, 2009)
Has an offer from Florida State
-Isaiah Philmore (6’7″, SF/PF, 2009)
Has offers from Miami, Virginia and Virginia Tech
– Dante Taylor (6’8″, PF, 2009)
Okay, so Taylor is not exactly an off-the-radar player, but I haven’t mentioned him, he seems to be leaning toward Maryland and after the past month, Terp fans need some good news of any kind.
So since Dante Taylor was pretty well known, I’ll add one more:
-Lakeem Jackson (6’5″, SF, 2009)
Another player who is highly thought of but you might not have known that he has an offer from Clemson.
